Edroos began her teaching career immediately following her graduation from Beaconhouse University in Lahore, where I joined as a teaching assistant in the MA in Art Education program. Subsequently, she joined NUST University, where she contributed to the foundational design studio before being promoted to lecturer. In this capacity, she focused on guiding students in the development of their conceptual design, narrative skills, prototyping, and presentation abilities. Her pedagogical approach emphasizes guiding students from the inception of an idea to its final execution, with a particular emphasis on research and visualization.
She has a strong interest in utilising photography as an educational tool, encouraging students to use it to document and visualize their creative processes. She has also conducted workshops to help students explore the role of photography in enhancing their work. In 2019, she joined the Fine Art Department at the National College of Arts in Rawalpindi, where She concentrated on the techniques of image-making and the exploration of everyday life as inspiration in art making. The department placed significant emphasis on integrating digital tools with traditional artistic techniques, and she worked with students to merge these approaches in innovative ways.
Central to her teaching philosophy is the belief that a solid foundation in art and design principles is essential for students to excel in their studio practices. She has been committed to fostering a balance between theoretical understanding and practical application, and strive to support students in identifying their strengths and tracking their progress throughout their artistic development.
