The zine is a compilation of selected images about suburbia by the artist. The work tries to capture the liminal spaces and transitions in between moments to make a larger commentary on fixity and fluidity.

Suburbia is often represented as an overly sanitized paradise, and in order to achieve this, it contains nature ornamental in suburbia. That's why the stray leaf seems out of place and bougainvillea, a popular South Asian household plant, provides even more food for thought as its creeps and flourishes chaotically around walled boundaries.

The water tank is a unique landmark in this context, standing out against the naked skies like the trees of suburbia. The object becomes almost comical as it rises to such imposing heights and is invested with more purpose than it needs to be.
